* snippet of FT2 *

Not much story in this little excerpt... But a hint of what I'm writing.

Doing her best to pull her breast up to her mouth, she curled her body forward and kept her eyes on Joe. When she felt her abs contract, she saw his eyes wander around her body and then roll back in his head as the hand in his pants slowed. Finally getting her nipple into her mouth, she smiled then placed it between her teeth.
“You like that?” he panted. “You like feeling teeth on your pretty little nipples, baby?”
She loved it when he talked like that. The dirty little whispers that were backed by so much passion she could feel it penetrate her gut.

Masturbation: Part 2

Masturbation: Part 1

Okay, so usually when I want to write a blog, I never do. However, when I polled Twitter this evening, and ladies were talking amongst each other, hardly anyone answered. I know, you don’t have to pay attention to everything that I say. Normally, you don’t. I’m assuming if I would have tagged Donnie in a tweet some where I may have gotten a response or recognition. We know that’s not going to happen any time soon.

There are more important things that I’d rather use Twitter to discuss than New Kids, American Idol and The Bachelor. Not saying that if you want to snark your way to spoilers for the West Coast you’re not “tweeting correctly”. It’s your Twitter, I don’t care what you do. I haven’t been active much lately in the Tweeting community due to my lack of anything to say that will actually bring an interest to my timeline. I don’t have New Kids news, I don’t watch East Coast feeds of reality TV shows and I haven’t downloaded Jordan’s single.

So! What did I tweet? I asked when the last time it was that the women who follow me had a “date” with themselves. Even some of the women that responded to me didn’t answer the question. Why did I ask this? Because I was watching a DVR’d show of Dr. Oz. He brought up talking about sex with your girlfriends was a good idea. They brought up masturbation.

This struck a chord with me. Not a nerve, mind you. But I was curious to see who would answer or who would respond and how they would. Well, three people answered the question and did a couple of tweets giving some detail about it. (Not personal detail just like, oh hey me! type of thing). Others probably rolled their eyes at me and didn’t respond. Then I did get a couple of other responses but they were more of the “oh, you again” type.

Oh, me again? There Feisty goes, talking about sex.

Is sex important to me? Yes. Should it be important to you? Yes. It’s important for your health; mental and physical. If you’re not having sex you may want to evaluate why. If you’re single and are pickier about penises than shoes, then well, there’s your answer. And that’s fine! Be picky because once one fuckin’ lands you it’s hard to get rid of them ;). If you have a partner and you’re not having sex with them, take a few steps back and ask yourself why. Do you want to? Does he make you feel sexy? Is it really his job to make you feel sexy? Do you ever compliment him? Do you make him feel sexy so he repays the favor? Do you do anything to make yourself sexy? Say something, give a look? Respond to his touch?

Sex, sex, sex. Sure. It’s important for your relationship. Yadda, yadda. But the most important sex you’ll have is with yourself.

Some answered that when they feel the mood they run to the bathroom, get off and go about their day. That’s healthy, in my opinion. Yeah, there have been times where I’m not home and it’s like… WHOA body, NOW? I take care of it, move on. Sometimes you just can’t control it. Those are the quickies that are more about self-satisfaction than self-discovery or self-love.

The type of masturbation that I’d wish more women would engage in is a total and complete date with themselves. It may be planned or you might find yourself with the kids asleep early, husband working late, boyfriend away. Maybe you’re single and no one is home. Roommate is gone, parents are on vacation or out to a movie. Well, shit. There’s time to fill. You can sit for two hours on Twitter and sure, that’s entertaining (big eye roll here) or you can put the electronics away (except one special friend), run a bath, light a candle and go to town on yourself.

Honestly? I’d rather spend the time with myself than talking about the same thing again and again- another night spent on a social network. Is the laundry done? Guess what? It’ll still be there when you’re finished with yourself. Dishes in the sink? They’ll be there again. Let something go and let yourself go for once.

Now, before I go into what you could do to have the night with yourself, just a quick run-down of a few benefits of masturbation.

Masturbation helps prevent cervical infections and helps relieve urinary tract infections. The movements, the swelling, the liquid flow of your body will naturally introduce certain things to your body that promote cervical health. Healthy bacteria are able to be introduced while old fluid flushes from the system.

If you cramp a lot during menstruation, you may want to look into masturbation as a relief. The increased blood flow to the area can alleviate cramping and back pain caused by PMS. Of course, you can be messy but the wonderful thing about being a woman, we have two spots you can stimulate. Some of us don’t even need direct contact so if that’s you, give a whirl the next time you have cramps.

Masturbation can help work against insomnia through hormonal and tension release. Instead of popping dangerous sleeping pills or trying to drink a half a bottle of wine before you go to bed to get to sleep, try exhausting yourself the more enjoyable way.

If you’ve had a child or have a weak pelvic floor, guess what can help strengthen that? Orgasms. And who can probably give you the best orgasms of your life? Yourself. During climax, your uterus lifts off the pelvic floor and pulsates. That’s muscle tension. The same thing happens when you lift weights. Muscles tense and release, you’re working them out. Same idea. I’m sure you get it. Especially if you cough or sneeze in a sitting position and UH OH! Yeah. Masturbation can help you out.

The last physical benefit I want to touch upon is KNOW YOUR BODY. By touching yourself and knowing what is going on down there you will be able to notice a difference first. How often do you go to the gynecologist? How often are you supposed to go? Do you go? Once a year? Twice a year? Is twice a year even enough to go get an exam from someone who doesn’t know what you looked like two weeks ago? Are they going to feel you up? No. They’re going to open you up, take a swab and ask if you have any questions.

By spending time with yourself you can become familiar with your body. If you feel something, smell something, fuck it, taste something different (some people are into it, don't "eww" we're all adults), you will know first. So many women rely on their doctors to tell them what is wrong and sorry, ladies? That just may be too late. Who do you think finds a tumor on a testicle first. A doctor? Or the man that gets down with himself every other day? I’ve known three guys with a tumor on a testicle and guess who found it? THEM. If you slide your fingers up in yourself and feel something out of the ordinary you’ll know you need to make a phone call; and you should.

Okay. So that was medical. I don’t give statistics, you can Google some of the stuff that I’ve talked about. Google medical benefits for masturbation if you want to read further about medical jargon.

I do want to post a blog about the more sensual side of this topic, I do. But I want to post this first. Think about some of the things that I mentioned. Google for yourself. Look into it and be ready for the next blog that I post. Very soon.

Oh, whatever. Shut up. All of you.

Working on WTOR.

“What’s up, J?” she asked. “I knew that it was bound to happen. Hopefully you got it out of your system and no I’m not going to punch you. But I don’t want you to ever go to exile again. Especially with her.”
“Out of my system?” he said. “You know, I told you. I don’t take it back.”
“We don’t owe each other anything.”
“We don’t,” he agreed and leaned into her.
“Not yet.”
“Not yet,” he repeated as he brushed his lips to hers. He went in for a full kiss.
“How did you find this place?” she asked.
“Nikki?”
“What?”
“Kiss me.”

On retirement

I dislike the word "quit" for so many reasons. It has this overall negative tone that I like to distance myself from. Quitting is something one does when faced with a challenge, not when they've accepted the end of something.

So, here on out I will use the word RETIRE.

I have retired from writing. It has been a very, what word should I use here? Rumbustious two plus years. It's over.

I'm no writer.

I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I am a hard worker, a lousy fiance and a loyal pet owner. I am a bitch, a shit-stirrer, a dreamer.

Those are things that I am.

What I am not: a writer, an author, a creator. I am not an artist. I am not someone who can gather words and easily spit them out into Word. I am not that person. I'm not a craftswoman.

It's been a painful road in admitting this to myself. Believe me. It breaks my heart admitting that you all have been seriously duped. I'm pretty sure that anyone could have seen this coming. When's the last time I posted something of actual quality?? Exactly.

I have taken what has been said, the good and the bad, about my writing and filed it away into neat little categories. When I started doing this in my mind I thought the good would outweigh the bad. Boy was I wrong. It's amazing just how much weight something bad brings into the situation. Let's say every light and fluffy comment that I've read about my work weighs 1lb. Every single negative comment, remark or situation weighs 10lbs. When we put it all together, well, I'm sure you guys are smart enough to do math.

So, those that have doubted me. You were right and you win. I am no writer. I will stop pretending to be so I don't "disgrace" your craft.

I am, however, a simple storyteller. Whether I want to continue doing that, that's up to me. But as for now I'm officially RETIRED.

Posts containing links to where you can find the endings of the stories that I have started will be available. The text itself will not be posted on The Feisty Tales but the links to where they can be found will be. And they will be password protected.

Thanks for all your support. I've made so many good friends through writing. Most of whom I still love and adore.

PS: I'm still editing Freaky Temptation for the photo contest winner. Sorry it's taken so long. Life stinks sometimes :(

On Board Fun!

So, on Twitter @PrincessCR1 had an excellent idea.

I remember I mentioned it earlier to a couple girls that weren't on board and they're fucking lame anyway that we should have story telling time! We're writers. If you want to go stalk those 5 fucks the entire time and not enjoy yourself then that's fine. But guess what? They're going to be busy and not out ALL of the time.

So, here's the deal.

The writers of The Feisty Tales have come together (well, some of us) and we have decided that we want to "host" a story-telling time on the ship this year! Sit on the floor, sit around a lounge, we'll figure it out.

Introducing the first annual:

Cock Tales with Cocktails

Details will follow. Most likely we'll keep this on The Feisty Tales ONLY. We'll create a thread/subforum for it in a little bit when JoshyWashy can get to a computer to figure it all out.

Much love,
The Writers of TFT
