Email that was sent to past and current readers

Hi!

Some of you I haven't contacted in a long time but I know that you were once on a mailing list of mine and have either received and read or just received the story Freaky Temptation.

This is an invitation to win a printed and bound original manuscript of the story. I'm going to go through the whole thing and attempt to clear any and all typos and mistakes before I print it out and bind it.

If you already know about the contest or have signed up, you may want to continue reading anyway just to get more info.

First, I have a story related blog: http://feistytales.blogspot.com. Some of this info is posted on there already. And some of it will be in a minute (going to copy/paste as soon as I'm done writing it.)

Second, Freaky Temptation held the interest of a lot of people. So if you just read that one story, there are two others completed and one other story in the works.

This contest will involve clues from all four parts of the saga so having read up to the current chapter is kind of key in this. There is a board where they are all posted. If you haven't read a story and you want to play with us then email me back and I'll email you a link to the board.

The jist of the contest?

You email me back that you're interested. Closer to 11/1/2010, I will contact you and ask for a mailing address (remember, you're playing to win a printed manuscript so if you won, I'd have to ask for that anyway. Don't worry, I won't stalk you in any other way except through GoogleMaps ;) ). Once you provide your mailing address to me, I will respond with a simple email that contains your alias for the game

Why provide your mailing address, you say? Because! I'm going to send you a card with your alias written on it.

On 11/1/2010, I will email you and provide clues for roughly 30 items. You then go out into the world and if you see said item, you place your card next to the item and snap a picture. Either use a camera phone or digital camera. You will then email that item to me (using the feistytales@gmail.com address).

Scoring is based on points. There may be more points awarded for creativity or accuracy of said item. And depending how hard the item is to find, it may be worth more points than another item.

The contest will run 30 days. So you have until 11/30/2010 to submit your entries. You can either submit as you go (which is easier if you have a camera phone) or you can upload them all at once.

If you are interested in playing to win the printed and bound (in any fashion you want; coil, metal coil, binder, tape, whatever) original manuscript (pre-published edition which means it will contain the guys' real names and fun stuff like that) of Freaky Temptation, then email feistytales@gmail.com

Contest Idea!

I have an idea what we can do. Let me run this by you guys. Either answer on Twitter on here. :) Preferably on here so I can keep all the responses in one place. Though, I may serve up some copy/pasta for Tweets (this is your warning that if you tweet me in regards to this you're allowing me post your tweet here on this blog).

A photo scavenger hunt.

Each person will create a label with their code name given to you by yours truly. Size to be determined.

I will give you a list of items. You will then find that item, whether it's around your house or you're in WalMart or at the mall... When you find that item, you place your label next to it and snap a picture!

The person to gather the most items, wins. If you complete all items first before the time expires, then you win!

The items MUST be real items and not pictures of them. You have to be the one taking the picture. That's what the label is for, to prove that you're the one that took that picture. Do not lose the label. If the labels look different, then I'm going to assume you had other people looking out for you!

For example

ITEM: Zebra print pillow

Scenario: You're in Bed, Bath and Beyond (because, really, who can't spend 3 hours in that store?) and you spot a *gasp* zebra print pillow. You whip out your handwritten label and place it on the pillow. Take a picture! Upload the picture to me at a specialized email address! (If you took it with your digital camera and not your phone, then you'll put it on your computer first, obviously, then send it to me via email to that email address)

At the end of every week, I will post every one's progress using their code name. It's up to you if you want to share your name or not.

It'll be fun.

I can either do this or a trivia contest. I thought this would be fun though.

I would plan this for Nov 1st - Nov 30th. During that time I'm going to be writing on the NaNo and taking a hiatus from the Freaky saga. :)

Freaky Contest

I put feelers out there on Twitter about a contest to receive a printed and bound (which ever way the winner wishes) copy of Freaky Temptation. It won't be the whole saga but just the first story. It won't be the version I'm submitting to a publisher either. It will be the real deal, the stuff you've read in your emails, the stuff that you've read on the boards. It will have the real names of people and every thing. Nothing will be edited (except a final once over from me to make sure I've cleared out as many typos and errors as possible).

There was a suggestion of a trivia contest. Although, another author has done this before and I don't like to bite off of other people. Though, I don't think the reader that suggested it knew about the other contest.

I was going to make it simple as: Find a wedding dress for K to get married in and write a brief description of why that would be her dress.

I kinda like the trivia contest idea though, even though it's been done (and a nod to that author which I'm not sure I can mention because of certain circumstances but she knows who she is and she rocks it) because, like the reader mentioned, you'd have to read the story to win. You didn't just Goog-it-up and find something pretty. Though, I did say that you would have to give me reasoning behind your choice. But that sounds more like homework than fun. And instead of writing a 100 word essay (because only Joe gives out homework to win prizes), I want to do something fun.

Anyone have any ideas for a contest other than a trivia contest?

I'm excited because I want to see what this thing looks like in a bound format!! LOL :)

There may be more than one winner depending on what contest I choose to hold. Now? Just the time to actually write more... I'd like that. I know! I'll hold a contest and the winner can come out and take my kids from me and give me time to write this darn story! Howsat sound? A trip to California* and a chance to babysit my kids? You just want that, don't you?

Of course I have to post the beginning of the next part just because I did write it. There is more that I have written but that can stay a mystery until I get another bulk of time to write. Did I skip over something? WHY YES! I did! But if you didn't know, I love flashbacks. For me, they're just easier to write because in my head, they've happened already. LOL Yeah, that's the way I'm thinking. And for me to really "go there" with this story, I have to make pretend even more that it already happened. Brace yourselves... It's going to be a fucked up ride!

Running through the door of the Hancock Park home, Kristi shouted for Joe.

“Joe!” Oh my God, where is he? “JOE!!!!”

Bounding into the great room from the living room, his hair askew from falling asleep against a couch pillow, Joe sleepily went as fast as he could to Kristi.

“What? What is it?” Joe asked in a panic.

She was trembling. The rest of what the night had in store for her was beyond even her imagination. She wanted to be with him, to feel love. All she felt at the club, she wanted it washed away. Joe embraced her and she fell into him.

“You’re shaking,” he said. “What’s wrong? What happened to you?”

He gently pried her away from him and cupped her face in his hands.

“Like you don’t know, Joe,” she sniffed back tears. “You’ve been paying her? This is what you want out of it? This is what you’re going to spend your money on? If you want therapy, or whatever, couples therapy? Let’s try that. I can’t do this.”

Layla's Special Guest

Layla's having a different type of party at her club. There's a special guest invited that was mentioned before in a previous update. Who that person is will not be revealed in the next update.

Layla says, of her special guest:

“Preston!” Layla barked. “Get your little peanut over here and take her. Clean her up. Wipe away anything that may be spilling out of her and then get her dressed. Hurry and we’ll journey downstairs together. Tonight? I’m going to have two pets. One for each side of me. I’m pretty sure the special guest will be impressed.”

I want you to guess who it is going to be. I already know who it is. I have it set in my head who it's going to be and I'm pretty sure you're all going to be shocked about that one. :)

Is it someone that I've brought into the story before? Yes.

Will you recognize this person and remember who they were? Most definitely.

A little bit of what I'm working on right now for Chapter 14. Maybe a little foreshadowing? LOL I don't know.

“You’re going to be mine for the night. Don’t worry. I’ll text Joe and say you’re here. Though, if he tries to come for you, you’ll be mine for a week. Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen. I’m sure his hard-on can’t take another hiatus from your pussy. He’ll be callin’ that hard-up MacPack chick and screwing her brains out on your lovely new bed, now won’t he?”
“She lives on the east coast,” Preston interjected.
“What the fuck ever, that’s not the fucking point, Dickweed!” Layla said. “The point is he’ll be fucking someone else and I’m sure our pretty little Kitty here doesn’t want that to happen. Am I right?”
Kristi nodded her head.
“See,” Layla laughed. “She cares about JOE and what he does with his cock. Not like you and your pecker.”

Just remember, yes, that "MacPack chick" is someone who I talk to and yes she has approved her appearance in this story. If you wanna go around saying "Oh mi gawwwwwwwwwww, Feisty called you hard-up" then that's fine. I already sent her a BBM to let her know. LOL

A New Pairing

I thought I'd throw this out there.

If there were to be a new pairing to the Freaky saga that hasn't yet been seen before (guy/guy, girl/girl, guy/girl, guy/guy/girl, whatever!) what would you like to see?

I'm not saying it's gonna happen. But it might! :) Maybe it'll spawn a new arc of some sort. Maybe I'll save it for another story. You never know.

eta: There will be new people introduced, btw. And those people are going to get down and dirty.

Still getting the feel for this site

Still trying to get the feel for this site. I'm pretty sure it's home now. I'll know when I start posting something that actually has content! LOL :)

As I mentioned before I send my story to a group of people via emails. One of the readers is a little behind and she was catching up today. Wooooooooooooooo! She stroked my dying ego by responding to each update when she was finished reading it.

That means, yay! I have inspiration to write tonight. Now? I just hope I have the time!!!

Just a preview for those that are currently reading FT2

Wanted to share what I was writing. A little snippet. 

She stayed. Why? She knew why. It was a major turn on, that’s why. Seeing Preston take off this woman’s pants the way he did; she would have never thought she could ache for him. Not even when they were together did she ever feel the ultimate need to be with him. But feeling that familiar sensation, a deep, pulsating yearning, she wished that it were her he was undressing.

Half-assed Intro....

I'm creating this thing so I can invite people to read my stories and track who exactly is doing so.

I've been posting on an adult fiction board but for some reason I still have a realy weird feeling about the TOU of that board. 

There's a difference between "fan" fiction and "real person" fiction (from here on out I'll refer to them as FF and RPF) and I'm unsure if certain sites that allow dirty FF also allow dirty RPF. Also, I use real names. I obviously ask permission to use those names, however, there are certain people that obviously I can't ask their permission. If I have to spell it out more than that? Do not continue reading, k?

I'm sure that there is no problem what-so-ever with us posting RPF on the board, however, I don't want to lose readers just because we get shut down again. (I swear, aren't there places for people with dirty minds like us in this world? Seriously!)

I may decide to strictly limit this to people who have asked or people that have coninuously shown interest in my writing. I usually email people my stories and that won't stop. However, I thought maybe I could post updates here, for my Bookies (aka Smut Whores or Smut Sluts) and you can actually interact with each other.

Whatcha think about that? 

I thought about using my Livejournal since I love it so much... But, since I love it so much, I'm not going to be posting Freaky Temptation or any other story on there. I may create another blogspot JUST for the NaNo though. Those people that were invited to read? Stay tuned. :)
